offensive images

i can't stand images that are overly staged and are obvious about how hard they are trying to be "artsy." photography should be effortless, or at least appear to be.









my friend shannon once told me "photos shouldn't need writing in them. a good photo will speak for itself."
this last one has pretty much everything that i don't like all in one. shaped bokeh (i've seen so much of these that it's just boring to me now), inspirational text (see previous talk about words in photos), and the polaroid border.
